Today, at Marzia Golden Manor, we bid farewell to one of our little survivors as she prepares to go home with her mother. She came to us on July 18, 2024, at just 2 years and 6 months old, after enduring unspeakable trauma — abused by her own father.
During her time with us, this brave little girl had to testify in court multiple times, facing painful moments no child should ever experience. With relentless support from our dedicated team and in close collaboration with government and legal authorities, we fought for her safety and for justice. Her abuser has been sentenced to 30 years in prison, ensuring that the scales of justice have tipped in her favor.
Today, as her mother takes her home, we are reminded of our core mission: to protect, heal, and empower those who are most vulnerable. This victory reinforces why we do what we do every day — standing together to create a safer future for every child.
