Charitable work in this family stretches back to the 1980s, when Masumali and Marzia Dewji served their community in Singida. That spirit lives on through their son Chairman Mohamedraza Dewji and Chairlady Nargis Khatun Dewji.
Marzia Golden Manor opened its doors in 2020. Golden Foundation was officially registered as a Trust in 2026 - formalising decades of quiet, committed giving.

When a very young girl was sent to hospital in Dar es Salaam with serious injuries, government officials asked Golden Foundation to help. This is the story of her journey from hospital care to a safe home at Marzia Golden Manor, and of the partnership that got her there.

At a KSIJ Dar Mafunzo Ya Imam Hussain camp in Mnazi Mmoja, a father stepped out of the queue with a quiet request for help. What followed revealed a family carrying mental illness in silence, and reminded us how much a single phone call can mean.
